Rooted Mind
Therapy Collective

You are not too much - you've been carrying too much for too long. You don't have to do it alone.
At Rooted Mind Therapy Collective, we support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, body image concerns, and relationship challenges. If you find yourself overthinking, people-pleasing, or feeling “not good enough,” therapy can offer a space to better understand what’s underneath—and begin working toward change.
Mental health and healing should be accessible regardless of income - book a consult call to ask about our sliding scale (fee adjustment based on income).

Who We Are
Angela is a Registered Psychologist who works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, body image concerns, and relationship challenges. She supports clients who have some self-awareness but feel stuck in patterns they can’t shift on their own. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in building a strong therapeutic relationship, creating space to explore emotions, understand underlying patterns, and move toward meaningful change. Drawing from approaches like EFT, IFS, and CBT, Angela helps clients develop emotional resilience, deepen self-understanding, and create more fulfilling, authentic lives.

Kelsey is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who works with individuals navigating the impacts of growing up feeling unseen, unheard, "wrong", or like they were doing something wrong. Maybe you felt like your needs were not important, or if you showed up authentically, you wouldn't be accepted. Maybe you had to work to earn validation and love.
To survive these feelings, kids often develop strategies to feel safe or get their needs met. As adults these strategies can become less helpful. You might find yourself stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, or feeling “not good enough.” Kelsey's approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), along with CBT, Adlerian, and Somatic approaches, to help you understand what’s happening underneath these patterns. Doing so can make them easier to manage and help you to respond intentionally, rather than just reacting from an emotional place.

Land Acknowledgement

We honour that we live, work, play, and gather on the traditional and ancestral lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda Nations (Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney), also known as Treaty 7 Territory. We also recognize that this land is within the homeland of the Métis Nation of Alberta.
This place—known as Moh’kins’tsis in Blackfoot, Guts’ists’i in Tsuut’ina, and Wîchîspa in Nakoda—is the meeting place of the Bow and Elbow Rivers, sacred gathering place for time immemorial.
We honour the ongoing relationships Indigenous peoples have with this land, waters, and all beings. We commit ourselves not just to acknowledgement,
but to actions rooted in Truth and Reconciliation.
This includes understanding the harms of colonization, cultural genocide, and residential schools. We strive to bring this context into our relationships and in supporting healing journeys.
